Your Boev Fountain will become an important part of your garden, home, or office.  To keep enjoying it for a long time, it’s important to keep the fountain clean and functional.

Some fountains will be easy to clean, on a basic timetable, but others may need special startup supplies such as bottled or distilled water to keep them running smoothly.  This will prevent calcium deposits in your fountain. 

It is usually recommended that you drain your garden fountain in the cold winter months.

Keeping it clean

Before you even start your Boev Fountain for the first time, consult your owner’s manual to find out what you need. 

One of the first things recommended is to take a clean, wet cloth or sponge to all the components to remove dust from shipping and the factory.  A dust-free Boev Fountain will ensure a smooth running stream.

Water does evaporate from the fountain, so be sure to check and see that your Boev Fountain has plenty of water.  The pump will sound as if it is working too hard and will overheat and wear out if not enough water is kept in your fountain. 

Checkups

Check the screens and small parts of your Boev Fountain periodically to keep the fountain clean and unclogged.  

The pump should be drained several times a year and wiped down to keep it running like new.
